For me, the 10 years of films from Iron Man to Avengers: Endgame is one of the greatest cinematic journeys and satisfying moviegoing experiences of my life.
So delightful was it that I tried to continue with Marvel & Disney's offerings into TV. But the onslaught was too much, the quality was too 'meh' ('mid'?), and to quote Tony Stark "No amount of money ever bought a second of time." And I decided my time is too valuable. So I stopped.
I cherry pick now. I've seen Deadpool 1&2 and can't wait for 3--- but I'm well aware that some of the story devices in 3 are pulled from some of the shows I haven't seen. And I'm fine with that.
So when the trailer dropped for Disney+'s "Agatha All Along," I watched the trailer just to see how it tied into everything going on (I DID watch "WandaVision"), but I had absolutely no intent on watching it. Until this title card came up:
Uh oh. Wait--- there's witches, spells, spooky forests, monsters, full moons, AND it'll (maybe) tie in to the Halloween season?
Damn. I'm in.
