The Outer Settings
I've always been a fan of the classic The Outer Limits TV show opening. So simple, so sinister.
And ripe for the parodying.
So I set out to do just that. CapCut has a number of selections to make the screen do the things that are discussed. So the question was where to take it once I did the screen, color, sound cues.
Having read a number of posts across the internet on how to turn off 'motion smoothing' (heck even Tom Cruise talked about it HERE), for the sake of --well-- FILMMAKING, I figured it was target ripe for taking aim at in this silly little video.
Then to find the a mish-mash of of menus to clip, crop, and intercut.
Lastly I had to pretend I was telling my parents how to operate the remote so the subtle simmering patience (hopefully) can be felt. Ending on "go to bed" seemed the most logical 'out.'
